Separatist leaders have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the mother of Manzoor Anjum, editor daily "Auqaab."
Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani, while condoling the demise prayed for the deceased and sympathized with the bereaved family.
Geelani also condoled the demise of the wife of late Muhammad Sultan Dar of Hardshiva, Sopore, and Peer Gayas-ud-din of Kanthpora, Lolab. "We share the grief of bereaved families and pray for eternal peace to the deceased," Geelani said in a statement.
Chairman of Hurriyat (M) Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Manzoor Anjum's mother and expressed heartfelt condolences with Manzoor Anjum and the bereaved family. He prayed for peace to the departed soul. Mirwaiz also expressed sorrow on the death of seven Kashmiri labourers in a tragic incident in Uttrakhand and extended his sympathy to the bereaved families.
Incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik expressed solidarity with Manzoor Anjum and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
A JKLF spokesman said that on the directions of incarcerated JKLF chairman, a delegation of the Front leaders visited the bereaved family.
National Front spokesman prayed for the deceased and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of the mother Manzoor Anjum, the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (H) chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir prayed for the peace to the departed soul and patience, forbearance and strength to bereaved family.
Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) chairman Zaffar Akbar Bhat has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise and prayed for the deceased. He expressed solidarity with Manzoor Anjum.
