Asking National Conference (NC) to reveal the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's response to safeguarding the Article 35-A and 370, Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) president, Er Rasheed, Thursday said that people are anxious to know the outcome of the meeting.
"While NC had claimed that its three parliamentarians willmeet the Prime Minister, but their MP from North Kashmir did not participate inthe meeting. The party has only claimed to have expressed its concerns, but hasnot come out with what the Prime Minister said about sensitive issues anddeployment of additional troops in the Valley," Rasheed said in a statement.
He added, "As the NC delegation preferred to ignore allother political parties and went alone to know the PM's views, Omar Abdullah ismorally bound to tell the people about the intentions of the union government."
The AIP president urged the NC leadership to reveal thedetails of the meeting with the Prime Minister at an earliest, so that a"collective effort can be initiated and finalized".
