Srinagar June 2: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 24 new COVID-19 deaths and 1,718 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
As per the government data, 1,133 of the fresh cases were reported from Kashmir division and 585 in Jammu.
As for the 24 fresh fatalities, 17 of them have been reported in Kashmir division while 7 were reported in Jammu taking the overall tally in J&K to 3,963.
The overall death toll comprises 2,031 in Kashmir and 1,932 in Jammu.
There are a total of 31,579 active cases in J&K,- 20,099 in Kashmir and 11,480 in Jammu.
A total of 3,391 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease today taking the total recoveries to 2,58,536.
