
Three civilians were wounded in a grenade blast at Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Sources said that suspected militants hurled a grenade at a police naka in Damhal Hanjipora which missed the target and exploded on the roadside.
"Three civilians were injured in the blast," SP Kulgam, Harmeet Singh told Greater Kashmir.
An official said the injured were immediately moved to district hospital DH Pora from where they were referred to district hospital Kulgam for advanced treatment.
"After treatment, the injured were discharged from the hospital," a doctor at district hospital Kulgam said.
The injured were identified as Ayaz Ahmad Bhat with splinter injuries on face, of Ashmuji Kulgam, Sabzar Ahmad Hajam with splinter injuries on throat, of Nandimarg and Bilal Ahmad Khatana who had received splinters on the left arm, of Bangiward KB Pora.
Soon after the attack, forces cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
