3 CRPF men, local girl injured in Kangan dog attacks

Four persons including three para-military CRPF personnel and a girl were injured after stray dogs bit them at two different places in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday. 

The CRPF personnel of 118 Bn posted at Margund camp were injured after a group of dogs attacked them near their camp.

   

The injured were rushed to sub-district hospital Kangan for treatment. 

A health official at sub-district hospital said that all the three injured were discharged after being given required treatment. 

The injured were identified as constables Arjun Kumar, Jogindar Singh and Kamlesh Kumar.

A girl identified as Zahida Akhtar (12) of Satrina Kangan was injured after a rabid dog attacked and injured her. She was taken to sub-district hospital Kangan for treatment.
