The three-day national level workshop on ‘Algebra & Analysis’ organised by the department of Mathematics, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) concluded at varsity’s Nowgam-I academic block here on Thursday.
During the workshop, eminent mathematicians from all overthe country delivered lectures on various topics of Algebra & Analysis.Around 75 participants, including faculty, students and research scholars, fromdifferent universities from across the country, were benefited by interactingwith learned speakers.
Distinguished resource persons, who delivered lecturesduring the workshop included Prof. A.P. Singh of Central University ofRajasthan, Prof G.P. Youvraj of Ramanujan Institute of Mathematical ScienceChennai, Prof. N.M. Khan of Aligarh Muslim University and Dr. Sartaj-Ul –Hasanof IIT Jammu.
During the workshop, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mehraj ud Din Mirinteracted with the participants and assured them to have regularly organisedsuch workshops in future.
