State government on Thursday placed 43 accountants as incharge assistant accounts officers.
Government order number 291-Accts of 2018 dated October 17, 2018 said that consequent upon qualifying of SAC part II departmental examination, the result of which was notified vide J&K public service commission, 43 accountants borne on J&K subordinate accounts service, class-II (accountants) have been placed as incharge assistant accounts officers in their own pay level with charge allowance as admissible under rules. “Placements of the accountants as incharge assistant accounts officers is purely a stop gap arrangement and shall not confer any preferential right to them for promotion, regularisation. Regularisation of the officials against the higher posts shall be subject to clearance by the departmental promotion committee and outcome of writ petition (s), if any, pending disposal in any court of law on the subject,” said the order.
