A five day capacity enhancement training workshop on Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) organised by J&K Association of Social Workers (JKASW) in collaboration with State Mission Directorate Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), concluded here on Saturday, organisers said in a statement.
The event was supported by TATA Relief Committee, Mumbai. "The main objective of the training workshop was to enhance the knowledge ,skill and attitude of the field ICDS functionaries towards ECCE and after this training they will be able to transact the age appropriate activities for holistic development of Children," project coordinator Ambreen Bashir said.
The 5-day training workshop was facilitated by Mobile Creches New Delhi as they have 50 years of experience to promote ECCE by enhancing the capacities of ICDS functionaries for marginalized children.
