Police on Saturday the security forces busted a militant module in Budgam and arrested five associates of Lashkar-e-Toiaba militant outfit.
A statement said on a credible input, police along with army’s 53 RR and 153 Bn CRPF arrested the associate identified as ZahoorWani of Arizal in the jurisdiction of police station Khansahab.
“On his disclosure a militant hideout was busted and incriminating material including arms and ammunition was recovered from the hideout,” said the statement. “During the course of investigation, four more militant associates identified as Younis Mir, Aslam Sheikh, Parvaiz Sheikh and Rehman Lone – all residents of Khansahib were arrested.”
