All Clerical Staff Association Ministerial Federation (ACSAMF) Sunday organised a convention for its members from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh at Tagoore Hall here.
The agenda of the convention was to bid farewell to thepresident of the association Ali Mohamamd Mir.
According to a statement, Mir on the occasion of hisretirement from the government services, threw light on the various issues ofthe cadre which have been taken up with the Government and toreorganise/re-strength the association by electing new president thereof.
The event was attended by all central body/ProvincialBody/District Body leaders and members of the association throughout the State.
The participants threw light on the contribution of Mir andthe achievements which the cadre has achieved under his leadership. All theleaders and members in one voice praised the contribution of the presidenttowards the cadre at large and all speakers on the occasion laid a view that aleader is the central person who guides the group toward its goal.
