Former PDP Migrant Wing General Secretary from Habba Kadal Rajinder Koul today joined J&K People’s Conference in presence of chairman Sajad Gani Lone, general secretary Imran Ansari and PC’s candidate for Srinagar parliament seat Irfan Ansari.
While welcoming Rajinder Koul to PC, Sajad Gani Lone saidthat Pandits form essential part of Kashmir and the age old bond between KashmiriMuslims and Pandits must be revived.
“Kashmir Pandits form an integral and essential part of thehistory & culture of Kashmir. The age-old inter-community bonds of amityand brotherhood between the Kashmir Pandit and Muslim communities must be revivedand reinvented,” he said.
Lone expressed hopethat the joining of Rajinder Koul would further strengthen the party’s resolveto work towards dignified and permanent return of the Kashmir Pandits. “Bothcommunities must strive towards realizing the dream of dignified return ofPandits to the Valley. The pain of the past must not become an impediment forthe future”, he added.
