PDP leaders and workers on Sunday accorded warm welcome to PDP’s nominated candidate for Srinagar’s Lok Sabha elections, Aga Syed Mohsin at the party head office here.
PDP’s general secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura whileaddressing the gathering termed Mohsin as person of a prospective mind who isbestowed with the capability to represent the underrepresented in parliamentand make the voices of the aggrieved people heard in the corridors ofpower.
PDP’s Srinagar district President and MLC Muhammad KhurshidAlam emphasised the need of unanimous efforts to keep the communal and divisiveelements at bay during the polls and sought decisive mandate for the PDP sothat the party emerges as a sole and just voice once again to foil the assaultsbeing made on multiple fronts against Jammu and Kashmir’s unique identity.
PDP’s candidate for Srinagar, Agha Syed Mohsin whileaddressing the supporters reiterated his pledge to carry forward the agenda ofthe PDP and underscored the importance of voting in PDP’s favour atpresent. “PDP is the only party whichhas proven that it will never go adrift from its core ideology and will alwaysfight for the protection of state’s unique interests,” he said.
