Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K S.J.M Gillani- accompanied by Maqsood-ul-Zaman-SSP, Commandant IRP-8th Battalion paid visit to Baltal, Nilgrath and Domail to take the stock of the deployment made for smooth and secure conduct of ongoing Amarnath Yatra, a police spokesman said in a statement.
He said the ADGPArmed also took stock of the logistics provided to the manpower deployed enroute the Holy Cave. He interacted with the officers and officials deployed atvarious locations and briefed them to discharge the assigned duties with utmostcare so that the devotees on the pilgrimage feel comfortable and secure by allmeans.
While briefing the officers assigned with different Yatraduties en the Holy Cave, the ADGP Armed also stressed upon them to take care ofthe welfare of Jawans deployed at hazardous locations for the safety andsecurity of the pilgrims.
