Senior Congress leader and former union minister Prof SaifuddinSoz on Sunday ridiculed the BJP president Amit Shah for what he called “inventing lies.”
In a statement Soz said, “BJP president tells lies deliberately as he is dead-set to go with theGobelian Philosophy of politics. When he (Shah) said that there will be adifferent PM everyday if BJP is not voted to power, he was blatantly telling anabsurd lie. In fact, he must have been laughing beneath his sleeve, otherwise,why wouldn’t he know that DrManmohan Singh happened to be Prime Minister for anuninterrupted decade and it was a great relief for the country that, apart fromother achievements, DrManmohan Singh, with the support from the PartyPresident, Sonia Gandhi, gave to the country laws like Right to InformationAct, Food Safety Act, Right to Education Act, Rehabilitation and ResettlementAct, Strengthening the Law for Women Safety, Lokpal and Lokayukta Act, StreetVendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act etc.etc.”He said, “Since the general assessment is thathe (Modi) will not make to the chair again, he will have left an obnoxiouslegacy for a well-intentioned leadership for the future.”
