Apni Party concerned over unavailability of Kerosene Oil

Srinagar, June 11: Apni Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi on Friday expressed his deep resentment over the unavailability of Kerosene oil across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir ‘due which underprivileged sections of the society especially fro m far-flung areas have to suffer the most.’

In a statement issued here, Andrabi said that there still exists a vast section of the people who still are dependent on Kerosene oil as a primary fuel. He alleged that at some places Kerosene oil is only accessible in black markets.

“The administration needs to restart delivering the monthly kerosene quota to those families who live in the suburbs or don’t have access to LPG connection. Pertinently, the harsh weather conditions and difficult terrain in J&K also makes it requisite for the people to use this conventional fuel during road closures or electricity blackouts,” he urged.
