Apni Party workers from Tangmarag call on G H Mir

A delegation of Apni Party senior workers from Tangmarag on Thursday called on Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir at the party’s Srinagar office.

A statement of Apni Party issued here said that the delegates conveyed their various grievances faced by the locals in Tangmarg.

   

They said that the locals in the area are facing acute shortage of safe drinking water and intermittent electric supply.

“The situation worsened after the snowfall in the month of January,” they said in the statement.

These delegates also complained about the deplorable condition of the roads in Tangmarag town and its adjoining areas and said it appears that the administration is impervious to redress their grievances.

The delegates also apprised the Mir regarding a sharp rise in unemployment in the area and implored him to impress upon the government to create employment avenues for the local qualified and skilled.

The statement said that Mir assured the delegates that he would take up their genuine concerns with the competent authorities and seek for their immediate redressal.
