Army, AHD extend helping hand to Jhula village

Army in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry department provided necessary assistance to the residents of Jhulla village in Uri who were aggrieved due to the loss of a large number of sheep and goats in a fire incident triggered by thunderbolt last week, an Army spokesman said in a statement. He said, “The Army at Kalgai approached the Animal Husbandry department and fast tracked the process of restoring the livelihood and negating the financial loss to the villagers. The villagers appreciated this initiative for fast redressal of their problems and were thankful to the Army and AHD for their unflinching support and assistance to revert their damage and means of livelihood.”
