Chakkigam batallion under the aegis of Lolab Tigersorganised an interactive session with locals and head of the villages of theregion at Chakkigam in Kupwara district, an Army spokesman said in a statement.
He said that 45locals and head of villages attended the interaction.
“Sadbhavana initiatives being undertaken in the region to give peace and progress a boost were deliberated upon to find avenues where more such projects can be undertaken and how the current programs could be made more effective.
The present situation and remedial measures to keep the environment safe, secure and ways to enhance peace and harmony in the area were also discussed,” he said.
