Army on Wednesday said that it conducted a medical camp for locals of Bodnambal village in Chowkibal, Kupwara to address medical problems of ailing villagers.
In a statement here an Army spokesman said, “During the camp, free consultation and medicines were provided to the patients and special attention was given to diagnosis. Spectrum of diseases included common infections like respiratory and gastrointestinal, life style disorders such as hypertension, diabetes and musculo skeletal disease and women were also treated for health related issue like anaemia. Total of 243 patients to include 68 males, 104 females and 71 children from the village benefitted from the initiative undertaken by the Army.”
