Army on Friday said that it organised an interaction with sarpanchs, ward members and others at Kuligam, Zudur and Rishinagri areas.
In a statement here an Army spokesman said, “discussions with the attendees were held on measures to overcome the hardships being faced by the villagers, importance of the forthcoming elections and quelling the rumors being spread by inimical elements in the society.
Other major issues pertaining to preventing the youth from wrongly choosing the path of militancy, steps to enhance and maintain peace and harmony in the region and to motivate the youth to actively participate in the recruitment and government jobs were also discussed.”
He said theinteractions generated a positive response.
