Army organises free medical camp at Drugmulla

Srinagar, Nov 9 : Army organised a free medical camp at Drugmulla today.

Giving details in a statement, Col Emron Musavi, PRO(Defence) Srinagar, said in an attempt to provide basic health facilities in remote areas of Drugmulla Block, army organised a medical camp at Udaan School, Durgmulla.

“The medical camp was organised by the doctors of Army Medical Corps. The medical camp witnessed a large turnout of nearly 300 people including men, women and children, who were offered medical opinion consultation and free medicines,” the PRO said.

He added that the larger aim of medical camp was to provide an opportunity to the local populace to seek best of the medical advice for their ailments which otherwise involves visiting hospitals in Kupwara and Srinagar. “The medical camp also witnessed the free distribution of various medical products like nebulisers, BP machines , SPO2 monitors, contactless thermometers and weighing machines,” the statement said.
