Army on Thursday paid tributes to late para trooper Mukut Bihari Meena who was killed during an encounter with militants on 11 Wednesday in Kupwara district.
“In a ceremony at BB Cantt, Lt Gen AK Bhatt, Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks, paid homage to the slain soldier. In a show of solidarity, representatives from other security agencies also joined in to pay their last respects to the slain soldier,” an army spokesman said in a statement.
