Army pays tributes to slain soldiers

The Army today paid rich tributes to the soldiers who were killed in a fidayeen attack on Sunjuwan military garrison in Jammu.  

“Mortal remains of the martyrs belonging to Kashmir were flown to Srinagar by a special military aircraft.  A wreath laying ceremony was organized at JAK LI Regimental Centre to honour the martyrs wherein wreaths were laid on behalf of Lt Gen AK Bhatt, GOC 15 Corps and Lt Gen Satish Dua, colonel of the JAK LI Regiment,” Army spokesperson said in a statement. 

   

Subedar Muhammad Ashraf Mir, havaldar Habibullah Qureshi, naik Manzoor Ahmed Deva and lance naik Muhammad Iqbal Sheikh were killed in a pre-dawn attack on Sunjuwan military garrison on 10 February.
