Ajas army camp along with JKP carried out a rescue operation in the area of Chirawan, Ajas in Bandipora district,an army spokesman said in a statement.
He said that 27 year old local, Majib-ur-rehman, was caught in a snow slide on the higher ridges of Chirawan forest while collecting wood. As soon as the information of the avalanche came in, a joint team of Ajas army camp and JKP rushed to the site along with an ambulance and rescued him.
