Army unfurls ‘Mission Rah-e-Kashmir’ in Anantnag

“The project involved construction of an experimental stretch of road made of waste plastic at Chinar 9 Jawan Club and door to door awareness campaign on waste management at various districts of South Kashmir by experts on the subject,” an Army spokesman said.

Army at High Ground Anantnag unfurled "Mission Rah-e-Kashmir" on Wednesday. 

"The project involved construction of an experimental stretch of road made of waste plastic at Chinar 9 Jawan Club and door to door awareness campaign on waste management at various districts of South Kashmir by experts on the subject," an Army spokesman said.

The project was unfurled by Major General Ashok Narula, General Officer Commanding Victor Force, in the presence of Army and civil administration officials. The initiative has been taken up by RR Bn of Anantnag under consultation of Raaginii Jain, Senior Consultant on waste management and member of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.
