A complete shutdown is being observed today in Tahab area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district against the killing of a woman and arrest of dozens of youth during a nocturnal raid.
A woman died allegedly due to suffocation caused by intense teargas shelling by government forces in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Reports said that twenty-five youth were arrested during a raid last night.
The arrests triggered a shutdown in the area with shopkeepers staying away from the market.
Public transport also remained off the roads.
