Kulgam, Nov 20:BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir, led by its General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, addressed a Shakti Kendra PramukhSammelan of DH Pora, Kulgam and Devsar assembly constituencies in district Kulgam under Rajouri-Anantnag parliamentary constituency.
Ashok Koul was also accompanied by Seh-Prabhari BJP Kashmir RafiqWani, District PrabhariKulgam Adv. WajahatHussain, District President Zubair Ahmed Ganai, and Parliamentary Constituency Vistarak Veer Saraf among others.
Ashok Koul, in his address to the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, deliberated on their prominent role in strengthening the party at the grass root level. He said that the Modi government has all through these years worked to empower the people living at the bottom level of societal hierarchy and for which various welfare schemes were engineered, specifically targeting the lowest level of implementation.
BJP, he said, has in fact stressed on the booth level involving the activists in every single area to ensure that public welfare schemes are implemented in letter and spirit. He added that as Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, they have the prime responsibility to ensure the implementation of the party’s programmes and deliverance of party’s policies to the masses along with the utmost duty to assist in the ground implementation of all public welfare schemes for the benefit of the needy.
Ashok Koul stressed upon the Shakti Kendra Pramukh to ensure that the programmes launched from time to time to reach the masses, are undertaken with sincerity and completed within the stipulated time. He said that proper ground work is key to success in the elections and there should be no leniency in any task given to the party activists who have to contribute a lot by their work.
