Srinagar, Nov 18: A free mega AYUSH medical aid camp was conducted by Directorate of AYUSH J&K and organised by District Nodal Officer AYUSH Ganderbal and MO I/C AYUSH Unit Kangan today at Public Park Kangan.

In this camp, hundreds of people benefited from the AYUSH treatment. Free consultation and medicine were provided to the masses. They were made aware of the illnesses because of harsh winters ahead.

Various immune-boosting medicines were given to them to combat the possible ailments due to cold weather. It was a moment of pride for AYUSH as people applauded this camp and urged to conduct such camps in all the remote areas of the UT.

In this camp, the number of senior citizens was more and it was an indication that “we need to address the geriatric care at grass root level. The District administration also gave their support to make this camp a success.”
