Srinagar Dec 4: Authorities have closed Bandipora-Gurez and Dawar-Tulail road in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district for vehicular traffic in view of snowfall prediction.
Weatherman has forecast widespread rains and snowfall across J&K and Ladakh from December 5 to 7 with snowfall in the north Kashmir district expected on the intervening night of 4 and 5 only.
In na order issued today, Tehsildar Gurez directed SHO Gurez, SHO Tulail and in charge Police Post Izmarg not to allow traffic on Bandipora-Gurez road and Dawar-Tulail road from 2 PM today till further orders in view of the wet weather conditions which is likely to cause landslides in the upper reaches.
