Police on Sunday registered a case against a BJP leader in Bandipora on the complaint by a block development officer (BDO) accusing him of using abusive language in his office yesterday.
An official said the police registered FIR no. 136/2018 u/s 353 RPC in police station Bandipora against the district president BJP Sheikh Waseem Bari.
Pertinently, Waseem Bari is contesting polls for Bandipora municipal committee from Ward 13.
The official said that BJP leader has used "abusive language against the officer in his office."
