Four persons, including the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) District President were booked under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) in north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
Sources said that Rayees Ahmad Mir, resident of Kehnusa village, has been booked under the PSA on Saturday for "instigating people and inciting violence" in Bandipora.
Another active member of TeH, Ghulam Muhammad Lone, resident of Ashtengoo, has also been booked under PSA, they said.
Sources added that two more persons, residents of Hajin, have been booked under PSA.
A police official said that they have been shifted to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu on Sunday night.
Mir and Lone were arrested near Putushai village on September 4.
Earlier, last month six persons were also booked under PSA in Bandipora, who were shifted to Udhampur Jail.
