Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today chaired an officers meeting to review working of Department of Culture.
The meeting had a detailed deliberation on various vital issues concerning resurrection and revitalization of cultural activities in Kashmir Valley.
The Advisor asked the Secretary Culture to integrate programme of events with tourism department so that platform is provided to artists to revive the cultural activities in the Valley. It was informed in the meeting that various programmes will be organized particularly during winter tourism activities at Gulmarg and Srinagar.
