BDC chairman Khag shot dead in Dalwash village of central Kashmir’s Budgam

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday shot dead Block Development Council (BDC) chairman Khag near his ancestral residence at Dalwash village in central Kashmir's Budgam district.

A senior police officer told news agency GNS that the BDC chairman Bhupinder Singh left two PSOs at police station Khag and left for his ancestral home alone without informing the Station House Officer khag.

Sources said that Singh used to stay at Aloochibagh Srinagar and had gone to Khag today.
