Srinagar, Dec 10: The candidates who are scheduled to appear in J&K Prosecutor Officer (Mains) examination from 27 December on Friday appealed to the authorities to defer it by a month.

A group of candidates said that the Public Service Commission (PSC) had issued a date sheet for this examination, scheduled to commence from 27 December.

“We have been given just three months to prepare for exams which otherwise have a very vast syllabus. It is a precedent that PSC provides at least six months preparation time to candidates for such exams,” they said.

They said that it would also be difficult for the candidates to reach and write exams during ChillaiKalan.
