A civilian was injured after he accidently stepped over a landmine along Line of Control (LOC) in Kupwara district on Tuesday, police said.
According to police official a civilian Abdul Hamid Lone (42) was critically injured after he accidentally stepped over a landmine at Nambla area near Uri along LOC.
Hamid as per police in the morning was out in his fields located near LOC, when he stepped over a landmine.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura hospital in a critical state, police said.
