Clashes erupted after the government forces on Friday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 34 RR, 23 PARA, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 14 BN CRPF launched a search operation in Nadigam village.
However, youth took to streets soon after the CASO was launched and clashed with the forces.
