Class 9 term exam postponed after paper theft at Bandipora school

Two employees of education department were placed under suspension after paper theft at a school in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The State Institute of Education has postponed the term exams for Class 9th which were scheduled to begin from June 26.

   

An official said that question papers for the term examination were stolen last night from Government High School Laharwalpora in Bandipora district.

A case FIR No 101 of 2018 has been registered in this connection at police station Bandipora.

SHO Bandipora Gazzanfar Ahmad confirmed to Greater Kashmir that the FIR was lodged last night.

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Khurshid Ahmad Sanaie said the exams were cancelled after the incident.
