Congress followed BJP’s foot prints in Parliament over Triple Talaq: MLA Langate

MLA Langate Er Rasheed today hit out at Congress saying it followed footprints of BJP by not opposing the bill in LoK Sabha on Triple Talaq.

“This has proved yet again that Congress is no way different than any other communal party,” Rasheed while addressing a gathering at main Eidgah Rajouri during a function organised by a religious organisation.

“I appeal for self introspection within Muslims themselves so that no one gets a chance to defame the religion or interfere in religious affairs,” he said.

Interacting with deputations comprising lawyers, students, businessmen and senior, citizens  Rasheed accused government of “ignoring” people of Pir Panchal region. “Political parties have treated this area nothing more than a vote bank,” Rasheed  said demanding compensation for victims of border shelling, immediate start on tunnel on Mughal road and special developmental packages for the region.
