Srinagar, May 7: A cop was injured after his rifle went off accidentally in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
Quoting a senior police officer, news agency GNS reported that the cop namely Muzaffar Ahmad was on duty near block office Khag when his rifle accidentally went off.
In the incident the cop recieved bullet wound in his left foot.
Subsequently he was shifted to JVC Srinagar for treatment, where his condition is said to be stable, the officer said.
