Srinagar, June 15: A cop was injured after militants hurled a grenade towards a police party in Padshahi Bagh area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
Quoting a top police officer, news agency GNS reported that the cop was shifted to nearby hospital with splinter injuries where his condition is said to be stable.
The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
