The districtadministration here on Friday declared Gutlibagh village as a red zone and itsadjoining villages of Babawayil and Wayil Wooder as Buffer Zones after aCOVID-19 positive case was detected there on Thursday.
The total number ofCovid-19 cases in the district has reached 14.
Invokingprohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC and Disaster Management Act,2005, District Magistrate Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal said that there would be noinward and outward movement of any person from the village declared Red zoneand the people would stay in their homes to ensure complete lockdow.
He warned of sternaction against the violators as per provisions relevant act.
An official toldGreater Kashmir that the nodal officer nominated for the area has been asked toensure essential supplies in the area.
