Cross-LoC bus service resumes in Kashmir amid tension over Pulwama attack

The cross-LoC bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad resumed on Monday amid heightened tension between India and Pakistan over Pulwama attack.

Five passengers from Salamabad Uri left for Muzaffarabad at around 11 am while eight passengers arrived from the other side at Trade facilitation Centre Salamabad Uri.

The bus service was suspended between the divided parts of Kashmir following Feb 14 Pulwama attack.

Forty Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed on February 14 when a suicide bomber of Jaish-e-Mohammad group rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into their bus in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir.
