CRPF trooper dies of heart attack in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 17: A 50-year-old paramilitary CRPF trooper posted in city centre Lal Chowk in Srinagar, died of heart attack in the early hours on Friday, officials said.

Quoting the officials, news agenfy GNS reported that Head constable, Shravan Kumar, a driver in the 19th battalion CRPF had a cardiac arrest at around 03:20 a.m. at Akhara Lalchowk area of Srinagar.

Kumar was shifted to hospital but was declared brought dead on arrival, an official said.

A police officer confirmed to GNS that trooper died of heart attack.
