CRPF trooper hit by car in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, critical

Srinagar, Dec 19: A CRPF constable was critically injured on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Awantipora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, official sources said.

Quoting the sources, news agency KDC reported that the constable of 130 Battalion identified as Shrawan Kumar was deployed on ROP duty at NHW when he was hit by one car bearing registration number JK22-5839 resulting in critical injuries to the paramilitary trooper.

   

The injured trooper was immediately shifted to PHC Awantipora where doctors referred him to a Srinagar hospital for further treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is on.
