CRPF trooper shoots self in Ganderbal, hospitalised

Srinagar, July 1: A trooper of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured after he shot himself with his service rifle in Gund area of Ganderbal district on Friday morning, officials said here.

Quoting the officials, news agency KNO reported that the trooper from Reasi shot himself today morning.

He was rushed to SDH Kangan, where doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident.
