A delegation of office-bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union (CSNGEU) today called on Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and hailed the initiatives taken by the Government for the welfare of employees.
The Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Basharat Bukhari was also present on the occasion.
The CSNGEU was led by its president, Ghulam Rasool Mir, vice president Suresh Bedi and other office-bearers.
The Union members thanked the government for conceding to its various demands which were pending since long and hoped that other demands like career progression of the employees, enhancement in Durbar Move TA, enhancement of medical allowance, reduction of qualifying service from 28 years to 20 years and removing pay anomalies of various cadres would be redressed in a time bound manner.
Dr Singh said the Government would address the issues being faced by the employees in a time-bound manner.
Syed Basharat Bukhari also reiterated the Government's resolve to maintain a good relationship with the employees which would ensure good deliverance at all levels of governance.
