School of Education, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) students, organised a debate competition on the ‘Boon and Bane of Mobile Phones’ at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Saloora here, a CUK spokesman said in a statement.
Dean School of Education, Dr. Syed Zahoor Geelani, whopresided over the function, felicitated the students and deliberated on theharmful impacts of excessive use of mobile phone.
The competition was organised by Malik Nasirat Jan, Mumtaza,Zaffarullah Rashid, Ulafath Mukhtar, Shaista Hassan and Neelofar Bashir underthe supervision of S Arokia Mary, Assistant Professor. Eleventh standardstudents participated in the competition and discussed various critical issuesregarding excessive use of mobile phones.
Sumera Mushtaq and Towqeer un Nissa were jointly adjudged asthe best presenters during the competition.
