Custodian General, J&K Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today chaired a meeting to review the land acquisition cases involving evacuee land in Baramulla.
The meeting was attended by the custodian Kashmir, deputy custodian HQ Kashmir, collectors and tehsildars concerned, an official handout said.
In the meeting, thirty land acquisition cases involving evacuee land in Baramulla were discussed and collector land acquisition/tehsildars informed that compensation related to some cases is under process and amount should be released to the Evacuee Property Department very shortly.
It was informed that necessary steps have been taken regarding remaining cases and they would be finalized within one month.
The custodian general directed the concerned to expedite the process, besides asking custodian, Kashmir to provide necessary details of the cases to the concerned for their finalization.
