Day 2: Tral shuts to mourn militant’s killing

A complete shutdown was observed on the second consecutive day on Thursday in Tral township of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of a militant in an encounter with government forces at Nagpathri forest on Wednesday.

All the shops and business establishments remained closed inthe town while public transport was off the roads.

   

The slain militant Shabir Ahmad Malik son of Abdul AhadMalik of Nagbal Tral was associated with Ansar Ghazwat Ul Hind militant outfit.

People from different areas continued to visit his house inNagbal and offered prayers for him.
