Kashmir continued to remain shut for the 90th consecutive day on Thursday, even as an increased movement of private vehicles was seen in uptown areas of capital Srinagar.
Reports of shutdown came from all district headquarters of the valley.
The separatists have called for a march to the local UN office here tomorrow.
The separatists had called for a march in the three districts – Anantnag, Baramulla and Srinagar – of the Valley today.
The authorities have not put restrictions on the movement of people anywhere in Kashmir today, but forces have been deployed to maintain law and order, said an official.
Shops and business establishments remained closed due to the shutdown.
